Caesarea Acqueduct built in the 1st century B.C.E. The lack of fresh water at Herod's new city required a lengthy aqueduct to bring water from springs at the base of Mount Carmel nearly ten miles away. In order that the water would flow by the pull of gravity, the aqueduct was built on arches and the gradient was carefully measured.
"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him.......While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them who heard the word.....Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?
